Gateway

Well-designed signs play an important role in identifying our communities and establishing our neighborhoods. They can also help contribute to the economic and cultural well-being of our cities and towns. For this reason, the Alabama Power Foundation is pleased to offer its Gateway program.

The Gateway grant program, an Alabama Power Foundation initiative, will supply up to $2,000 per grant to purchase materials for community signage.

Since its launch in 2012, the Gateway program has awarded over $100,000 through more than 50 grants in central and southern Alabama.

In 2016, the Alabama Power Foundation awarded 21 Gateway grants totaling more than $40,000.
