Elevate movement

Elevate is a resource and a network for non-profits, organizations,  and individuals — people passionate about powering positive change in Alabama. Together, we can make our state a better place for generations to come.

The Elevate movement is a two-part approach to strengthening nonprofit partnerships across the state.

The annual Elevate conference gives our nonprofit partners a chance to network with one another, share best practices and learn from speakers and workshops.

It’s a lack of funding, not a lack of caring

When local nonprofits were asked what factor most limits their success, they responded “Lack of Funding.” Elevate is about helping increase the visibility of needs in our state and the visibility of our community partners, and with increased visibility hopefully comes increased funding.

Poverty is our biggest obstacle

Poverty is the issue that most affects the communities our partners serve. It is also the root cause of so many problems Alabamians face. So much can be solved if, together, we begin to focus on poverty, and search for innovative ways to tackle it.

Alabama’s future depends on education

Our partners said education, or lack thereof, is the biggest threat to the future health of Alabama. Poverty and education are linked together in so many ways. Let’s focus on both for a bright future.
